Noah's Dream
£250
Vivid colours, dense botanical motifs, patterned animals and a symmetrical composition. The animals are rendered almost like illuminated-manuscript having the effect of a textile design - combining the Noah story with highly ornamental, almost dreamlike animal imagery.
Balance and Harmony
SOLD
A personal reflection on art found in religious sites. I am drawn to ornamental art which exists in so many religious sites from all around the world - reflecting history, cultures and traditions which I find so interesting.
Reflecting also on how different cultures and religions can live harmoniously - and the beauty and variety which this can bring to the world we live in.
Simply - a piece of art which stitches together patterns from various places of worship from around the world - championing peace and humanity and the beauty it brings when we live harmoniously and respectfully within it.
Fated Lovers
£350 (incl oak frame)
A modern day mermaid amidst various sea creatures, tattoos on her tail acquired from land adventures with pirates, her treasures surround her which content her somewhat but do not satisfy her yearning heart…
A modern day man escaping the ironic consumerism of life to live amongst the animals in the jungle, peaceful and content contemplating what else is out there other than what he already knows there to be…
Sprouting wings which flow into the right side of the painting which is for the animals that live in the sky overlooking the two hearts destined to meet…

The Storyteller's Garden
SOLD
Inspired by South Asian, Indian folk art and traditional textiles this rich and earthy collage is built upon liquid gold leaf and mixes paisleys, flora, birds and the symbolic heart and spade playing-cards with the feel of a hand painted textile or illustrated folk tapestry. Intentionally maximalist and dreamlike, while the central symmetrical motif gives the busy imagery a sense of balance.
A Heart Full of Flowers
SOLD
A celebration of nature with sweeping ornamental forms centered around a Delft style vase. The many fine lines and repeated motifs give the appearance of a hand drawn textile, tapestry or traditional folk illustration.
The Gonzo Tree
£350 (incl oak frame)
A meeting of feathered creatures in the fruitful 'Gonzo Tree' - a place where they exchange stories, dine on delicious fruits and have joyful encounters.
The Blooming Vessel
£120 (incl frame)
Folk art and decorative botanical character, centered around a large Delft style vessel overflowing with an elaborate flowering tree which branches outward like antlers or wings. The central form creates a strong symmetry and gives the artwork a ceremonial, almost mythical quality.
Beautiful Ordinary Curiosities
£400
I have painted objects, animals, plants (some typical in everyday life & some a little more exotic) but this painting is about seeing the beauty in life & celebrating it. The items are laid out like you would display a collection of objects with space around each & painted in bright matt bold colours so they stand out boldly against the rich gold background.
A celebration of curiosity and growth and the interconnectedness of the natural and imagined worlds. The details encourage the viewer to wander through the painting and discover something new each time.
The Garden of Becoming
£250 (unframed)
A richly detailed, symbolic composition depicting humanity nestled within an abundant, dreamlike garden. Two figures emerge beneath a flowering tree, surrounded by winding branches, flowing water, birds, insects, and a tapestry of botanical forms. The symmetrical, organic design suggest the interconnectedness of life, nature, creation, and human experience. Earthy ochres, deep greens, blues, and touches of crimson create a sense of an ancient illuminated manuscript brought to life, while the central figures evoke themes of innocence, knowledge, connection, and transformation. The intricate borders and repeating motifs extend the garden beyond its center, suggesting that the natural world is both a sanctuary and a living, ever-evolving story.
